How IFG Got Started

THE INTERFACE FINANCIAL GROUP is over 35 years old.  It all started with a single transaction.  Here's the story:

The client company was a sheet metal fabricator and had completed a contract for a very large Fortune 500 company.  The customer was, naturally, an excellent credit risk and a 'regular' payer, but -- 'regular' in this case translated into about 50 days from the date of the invoice.  That's what created the problem -- the contractor, who had completed that work and had it 'signed off', had employees to pay today and basically no money in the bank.  Sound familiar?

Enter John Sheehy, the founder of INTERFACE.  He checked out the paperwork and bought the invoice from the sheet-metal company at a small discount.  They paid their workers and their taxes and John ultimately was paid by the customer.  End of transaction -- start of INTERFACE.  In the 36 years following that inaugural transaction, which was in today's terms a quite modest $20,000, INTERFACE has helped literally hundreds and hundreds of small businesses pay their employees, their taxes, their suppliers, and take advantage of growth opportunities.

That's what INTERFACE is all about, primarily looking at funding requirements that range from one or two thousand dollars to whatever is needed.  The emphasis is, and always has been, to help the start-up company and those with growth-related cash flow issues.  The fact that the client is a contractor, in a service industry, a manufacturere, etc., doesn't matter to INTERFACE -- we look at the underlying transaction and if it's duly completed then we are there to accelerate the cash flow to generate growth.  For more infomation CONTACT us.
